8 Bells Performance at the Coast Guard Academy

8 Bells is an 11 minute audio creation with accompanied performance

On October 14th and 15th 2022 I performed “8 Bells” in two different locations at the Coast Guard Academy. The Coast Guard Academy (CGA) is a 4 year military university in New London, Connecticut that graduates officers in the Coast Guard with a Bachelor of Science and a commission into active duty service. I graduated in 2012. This year was our 10 year class reunion along with many other graduating years going back to as far as 1952. Over this reunion weekend I performed “8 Bells” on a CGA training boat called the SHUMAN and in the campus’ largest auditorium to a mixture of alumni and their families.
